The University of Delaware's new executive office suite on the 9th floor of Star Tower was intended to serve as a hub for the leadership team and to impress potential donors, with an emphasis on a business-like ambiance. COFCO, A Henricksen Company (COFCO), collaborated with Delle Donne & Associates, Bernardon Architecture, Bancroft Construction, and the University of Delaware to design and install high-quality Allsteel Aspect wall systems, workstations, and Gunlocke private offices.

There were several challenges that the COFCO team needed to overcome to ensure success of the project. Uniformity in wood finishes across different products was a significant challenge due to natural grain variations, necessitating close collaboration between design and manufacturing teams. Technology integration was also crucial, leading to modifications in furniture to accommodate technological needs.

Ultimately, COFCO was able to help the University of Delaware create a cohesive space that supports the University's executive functions and fundraising efforts.
